Alpine Riverside Cottages, Porepunkah

We had an amazing stay at the cozy cottage, nestled on the banks of the Ovens River. The space was comfortable with all the essentials for a lovely getaway, and our dog was welcome, which made it extra special. The grounds were expansive and delightful for leisurely walks, making it a real nature retreat. However, there was some road noise during the day, though it settled down at night, which was a slight drawback.

This charming property is perfectly located, just a short drive from Bright and Mount Buffalo, allowing us to escape the crowds while being close to scenic spots. Our Riverview room was spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay remarkable with personal touches, including cozy room warmth upon arrival and complimentary bike rentals for exploring nearby wineries. However, if you prefer dining out, a standard room might be more economical. Overall, this gem offers incredible value and exceptional service.
